The detective Erik Bernasconi hunts after the instigators of the disappearance of the moka in the mokaland Omegna.

SHORT SYNOPSIS

Around the pimontese town of Omegna, an anomalous industrial center was born in the twentieth century: the "household district”. The big Sister companies Bialetti, Alessi, Lagostina, Girmi, Piazza, Calderoni, through innovations and new advertising channels exploited the post-war economic boom and became known all over the world. The made in Italy brand was born. With the crisis of 1979, the generational changes, the relocations and the workers' struggles, the golden years ended drastically leaving immense voids not only in the abandoned establishments but also in the hearts of the local population.
